If you come first, the judges were biased. If you come last, you suck at riding. If you use a crop, you’re abusing your horse. If you don’t use a crop, you’re letting them take advantage of you. If you let an inexperienced rider ride your horse, you’re ruining it. If you let an experienced rider ride your horse, they’re doing all the training for you. If you jump high, you’re a showoff. If you jump low, you can’t ride. If you support racing, you support animal abuse. If you don’t, you’re a tree hugger who doesnt know what they’re talking about. If you wear expensive breeches, you’re a snob. If you wear cheap breeches, you’re nobody. If you buy a lot of tack for your horse, you’re spoiled. If you don’t, you don’t deserve them. If you discipline your horse, you’re abusive. If you don’t, you’re soft. Someone is always going to disagree with you. Don’t let it matter.
