16. My life is hockey and horses. My blog will be whatever I want it to be. I voice my opinion. I'm a die hard Islanders fan since the day I was born, I'm a devils fan too. Yeah, hate on me I don't care. I hate people. Wayne Gretzky is my role model I absolutely idolize him. I'm obsessed with Canada. I have the mind of a guy more than half the time. Get to know me.

This trade deadline really made me see things straight. As a fan base, we’ve stooped pretty low. We’ve always been one of the best, most loyal fan bases and lately we havn’t been. Yeah we want to win, and thats understandable. But lately half of our fan base has been shitty. Honestly, certain players don’t live up to YOUR expectations and you want to get rid of them. You don’t even care about the sport or the players anymore. It’s just become about winning. Thats all great and lovely but lets say that happened. Lets say we were the 8th seed. What now big shots. First round we take the Rangers? We play completely different hockey against them but honestly, this year, thats a waste of a playoff run just to get swept first round. So a lot of the fans lately need to relax with their player hatred and what trade they wanna make. I’m getting so sick of it. 

My point of few, instead of hating and wanting to trade the players, take a look at who’s in charge of them. A lot of teams that have ex islanders aren’t doing that bad. And even if they aren’t making a big difference in that team, they still aren’t as low as when we had them. So the guys behind the scenes, and the coaching staff is what needs to be looked at in my opinion. 

AND I WANT A COACH WHO IS HUMAN GOD DAMMIT. HOCKEY IS A SPORT FULL OR EMOTIONS. HOCKEY HAS FEELING AND PASSION AND ROMANCE. HOCKEY HAS LOVE AND HATE. HOCKEY MAKES YOU CRY AND MAKES YOU SMILE. HOCKEY IS WHAT FILLS OUR HEARTS AND IF OUR COACH DOESN’T START SHOWING ANY OF THIS, WE ARE GOING NOWHERE. WHETHER WE GET A NEW ARENA OR NOT. WHETHER WE CHANGE OUR ENTIRE TEAM OR NOT. IT ALL STARTS WITH FUCKING CAPUANO.
